Our Portfolio of the Year competition was held on April 8th and judged by Sue Clark from Conwy Camera Club. Members can enter three images into the print section from three different genres and three images into the PDI section, again from different genres. Sue judged the prints first and made the following choices:
Best People (Figurative)- Her Ladyship Courting by Alan Walker:

Best Sport – The Winning Try by Simon Roberts:

Best Creative and Best Overall Print – Ramblin’ Man by Alan Walker:

Best Landscape – Yellowstone Geyser Eruption by Julie Walker:

The overall winner of the Print POTY was a 3-way tie between Simon Roberts, Alan Walker and Jeremy Malley-Smith with 57 points out of a possible 60.
When judging the PDI section, Sue introduced an innovative component for us in that for some images she made constructive changes which she then demonstrated on screen. In the PDI section she made the following awards:

The overall winner of the PDI POTY was a 2-way tie between Annie Given and Richard Jakobson with 56 points out of a possible 60.
