2nd Open Competition Dec 2024

Our latest meeting was the 2nd open competition of the 2024/25 season .
John Reed DPAGB ARPS BPE3* was our judge for the evening.
4 images were awarded the maximum 20 points.

2024-2024 Competitions

 

1st Set Subject Competition: “Mobile Phone Photography”

The first set subject competition of this season was for images obtained using mobile phones only. The technical quality of such images has increased greatly over recent years and this was demonstrated by the quality of the photographs submitted by our members. The competition was judged by our chairman, Tony Marsh. He used his “Olympic” system of marking, awarding the images either Bronze, Silver or Gold. There were 39 images submitted, of which 10 attained Gold standard:
